Why does my card show “Approved” but my WOGI purchase didn’t go through?

Sometimes your bank will display “Approved” even though the purchase did not complete on WOGI. This is because the bank may have approved a pre-authorisation (a temporary hold), but the payment was not captured/settled. When a payment is not captured, the order is not completed and the Gift/voucher will not be issued.
